Katarina is a native of Staaken on December 3rd, 1965. Katarina Witt has ended her career as a successful amateur for her time following the 1988 World Championships. The next three years she co-headlining her very first tour as professional skaters in the US and Canada along with World Champion and Calgary Olympic Champion Brian Boitano.
