Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th, 1995 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is a Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was made for an ad campaign for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is an Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway from her side, gave it some more recognition. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memory involves finding a small piano hidden in the basement and being fascinated at the sound it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music, not for a job or a hobby, but as an opportunity to develop. The Aksnes family encouraged her to compose. Her inspirations include famous writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her love for Bjork's style. When her mother informed her that her music can not only aid in her efforts to get noticed, but also make others see their importance within the global community and see the possibilities for her songs and her music, she was inspired to start singing in public. She started playing piano when she was just six and was writing her first song by the time she was nine. Her family didn't have any idea about it until she was fourteen. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. Aurora says she loves creating music. Music to her is the best way to feel anything.
